Pocket Marsh

Collected at Carkeek Park beach, two Lottia scutum shells encase a 12-panel accordion book. A gift for Andrea, both sides of the booklet recall memories from two different occasions: one from a moment collecting rocks at Carkeek Park, and the other spotting blue herons and bald eagles at the Nisqually Wildlife Refuge. Illustrated are the textures and scenes experienced while perusing each place.
